Toowhit Toowhoo

I really enjoy having a go at new things and learning new skills, however my passion is creating and making in paper and card. I often make gifts to give to friends for Birthdays and Christmas. I made this framed picture for my friend's daughter. I die cut all the letters and placed them individually. The owl was also die cut using a 'revolution' die. To add an extra dynamic I thought it would be lovely to have the owl sat on a real branch.

Raised trough planter

Those pesky slugs!!!! I was not happy when my lettace was nibbled last year, so this year we designed and made a raised planting trough! My partner, who is a talented chap when it comes to making anything in wood created this fab planter (feel free to contact us for further details). It sits perfectly under the window and saves my back when it comes to harvest! The slugs however, have now discovered my courgettes!!!!!

We are hoping for some little feathery neighbours, not sure if the interior design will be suitable though, it's a bit on the basic side!

Pirate storage

I wanted to create some pirate themed storage solutions for my son's bedroom. I made some simple draw string bags in red and white fabric and hung them alternately at different heights. I made the hanger out of the old style dolly pegs!

Initial cupcake wraps

My brain is constantly thinking about making things and until I actually produce them they are stored until I go into production. I really enjoy baking, however I began to wonder how I could make my cupcakes more appealing? Having seen various cupcake wrappers in the shops I didn't feel they were unique enough for me; so, I decided to find some lovely printed card and have a go at making my own! The print is on both sides of the card which makes the inside of the wrap just as lovely as the outside!!!
